I refined personas and user goals, prototyped rapidly by myself. Create whole package brand identity.Build up responsive web design and matching app.

Yoga is the intersection of health and hobby.

In recent years, with the rapid development of society, more and more urban women are working harder and harder. In addition to work, in order to relieve stress and maintain health, many urban women choose yoga to exercise.

User Analysis

After determining the target user, it is necessary to further investigate and study this group of user. Understand past attempts, competitor landscape.

Providing at-home workouts, nutrition plans, lifestyle tips, and a plan to help you achieve your health and fitness goals.

Too cute style, too much information on the homepage, users can't quickly extract the content they want.

Lack of customized feeling, lack of good classification of course categories

Problem Statement

The requirements of urban white-collar women are more special. Because of their work, they need to exercise with every day's fragmentary time. At the same time, their yoga demands tend to solve the physical pain caused by work, such as back pain and cervical pain. In addition, in women's menstrual period, it is also necessary to avoid high-intensity training and turn to soft stretching training.

Wireframing the solution

Gathered UX research provides an overtone, UI brings a comfortable temperature stringing together a client experience that is recognizable from start to finish. Based on the above problems identified, I worked towards addressing these pains by coming up with potential solutions:

  • Establishing a platform for making customized sports plans. Give users the flexibility and adjustability of yoga training plan.
  • The product can obtain user feedback in time to provide more customized content
     recommendation, so it can maintain the continuous use of customers.
  • Create a fashionable product line, encourage users interactivity and retension via motivation to exercise and earn rewards.

Emma wants to sign up as a new user.

Design Highlight
  • Put the sign up in hero image position to encourage users to register as new members.
  • On the home page, users can experience the short version of exercise course, in order to experience  and  experience, increase the user registration rate
  • The registration process should be as visual as possible to more strongly hook in new user sign up.

Design Highlight
  • Due to user can create their own training list, put calendar on left side allows users to review the history of playing records, so as to quickly manage and search the past exercise records.
  • The key to maintain users' is to meet their needs. To do this, I use as detailed video labels as possible to help users plan their exercise plans more precisely.
  • A short and quick content preference survey is placed after exercise, which can quickly learn user's usage habits and exercise intensity preference.

Design Highlight
  • Convert the website layout to app while maintaining the same functions.
  • Try to simplify the use of text, as far as possible to use icons to provide instructions for the use of functions.

Uncover the real pain points from users

The challenge of this project is to consider how to design responsive design in the design process.  It's not only about adjustable screen resolutions and automatically resizable images.

User experience is key: responsive design needs to be more than converting a desktop site into a mobile screen. We need to consider the user’s experience, their interaction and the essential content they’re actually looking for while using a mobile device.
